If you want to visit India for business or pleasure, you must have an Indian eVisa valid airports . Seaports

Airports
Once you’ve obtained your Indian eVisa, you can use it to enter the country at certain specified airports and seaports. The international airport where you plan to arrive must be specified in your eVisa application form. Non-convertible
In case of eVisa, you can travel to India through designated seaports and airports. These airports are also known as designated international airports. In order to enter India, you must hold an eVisa valid for at least six months from the date of your entry. Non-extendable
A non-extendable Indian eVisit visa (TVoA) is a one-time-use visa valid for up to 60 days. The period of validity begins at the time of the first entry into India, and cannot be extended. This visa may only be used twice per calendar year, so you will have to leave at least two months between visits. Make sure you print all the necessary documents and present them at the airport immigration counter when you arrive in India. Do not rely on electronic copies; instead, prepare hard copies of your itinerary, flight details, hotels, meals, and all reservations.

An eVisa is a valid travel document which allows foreign nationals to travel to India and stay for up to 90 days. However, the maximum duration of stay depends on the type of eVisa and the purpose for which the traveler intends to visit India. e-Visas for medical purposes are available for US citizens. These visas are valid for up to 90 days and allow the holder to enter the country for medical treatment.
